Jim West

Jim West is a faith-based artist and songwriter whose music lives at the crossroads of storytelling, heart, and devotion. With a guitar in his hands and a song in his spirit, Jim crafts music that speaks to the real experiences of life — the joy, the struggle, the heritage, and the hope that faith brings.

His song "Tennessee Mountain Girl" is a heartfelt tribute to Dolly Parton — a woman whose own journey from the Tennessee mountains to the world stage has inspired generations. The song captures the spirit of a mountain girl whose faith, resilience, and authenticity left an indelible mark on American music and culture. Through warm melodies and honest lyrics, Jim honors not just the icon, but the mountain values and deep-rooted faith that shaped her.

As a songwriter, Jim believes music is more than entertainment — it's a vessel for truth, a bridge between generations, and a way to point people toward something greater than themselves. Whether he's writing a tribute to a legend, sharing a story from his own journey, or crafting a song that speaks to the everyday walk of faith, Jim approaches every lyric with authenticity and purpose.

Through Legacy House, Jim is developing his artistry and building a body of work that scales — songs that honor the past, speak to the present, and carry a message of faith forward into the future.
